Tone Color Tunes


Try this project at home!

Composing using Quarter and Eighth Notes and DO, RE, & MI

After learning about tone color and reviewing do, re & mi, 3rd grade students composed their own piece.  
Using the rhythm values we have studied, students composed their own song choosing one of five tone colors. 
Placing their music in Finale Notepad was the final step!
