Our study of harmony
included an opportunity for students to arrange their own blues song using
Finale Notepad. First they wrote their rhyming lyrics, then chose bass and piano patterns from a file of choices putting them in the traditional 12-bar blues chord order. Finally they added the rhythm of their lyrics to their composition. Below are some of the results! |
